78:38. परन्तु वह जो दयालु है, वह अधर्म को ढांपता, और नाश नहीं करता; वह बारबार अपने क्रोध को ठण्डा करता है, और अपनी जलजलाहट को पूरी रीति से भड़कने नहीं देता।

78:38. Yet he is compassionate. He forgives sin and does not destroy. He often holds back his anger, and does not stir up his fury.

78:38. Yet he was merciful and forgave their sins and did not destroy them all. Many times he held back his anger and did not unleash his fury!

78:38. But he, being merciful, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: Yea, many a time turned he his anger away, And did not stir up all his wrath.
