22:15. तू जो देवदार की लकड़ी का अभिलाषी है, क्या इस रीति से तेरा राज्य स्थिर रहेगा। देख, तेरा पिता न्याय और धर्म के काम करता था, और वह खाता पीता और सुख से भी रहता था!

22:15. Does it make you any more of a king that you outstrip everyone else in building with cedar? Just think about your father. He was content that he had food and drink. He did what was just and right. So things went well with him.

22:15. But a beautiful cedar palace does not make a great king! Your father, Josiah, also had plenty to eat and drink. But he was just and right in all his dealings. That is why God blessed him.

22:15. "Jehoiakim, having a lot of cedar in your house does not make you a great king. Your father Josiah was satisfied to have food and drink. He did what was right and fair, so everything went well for him.
